Well, I'd say the best way to describe life right now is BUSY!
School is nearing an end, and that means my student teacher will be leaving me this week :( Ugh - back to the reality of teaching ALL day, EVERY day. I love my class, but I also loved being able to talk with my friends/colleages during the day!
Ethan is counting down how many days he has left until he is a FIRST GRADER! He is so excited, and we are VERY proud of how well he has done this year! He's a smart little boy, and I look forward to continue watching him grow and learn. He is also playing t-ball, with games every Thursday night. Last week was his first game, and he had a blast. He also told me as we were leaving, "Mommy, I have new friends now!" I love it!
Liliana is growing by leaps and bounds and talking more and more every day. She has an opinion about everything and makes sure it is heard by all! We all can see that she adores her big brother, as he adores her. Watching your children interact and have fun together is just priceless, and so far their relationship has been full of love!
This past week was a bit crazy, with our whole family taking turns with a flu bug. Of course, I got it the worst, and it was the day before the Riverbank run. Bad timing, but I still ran!
We are also getting closer to my Haiti trip! I'm trying to help with the fundraising and figuring out details still - lesson plans for VBS while we're there, suitcase regulations, flight changes, melaria pills, etc... I'm excited, and ready for all the preparations to be done so we can just GO!
Well, I think the load of whites I'm waiting for is almost ready to be switched to the dryer, so I think I'll do that and get to bed!
Adios!

We've missed you on Blog Spot! I was just thinking about you and your family the other day and was wondering how life was! Sounds like things are going well and busy. Boy can I relate! You lucky duck that you are almost done. I still have a little less than a month left. SIGH! Keep your chin up sister. Can't wait to hear about your trip when that's over with! Hugs from afar.
